The rest of the pictures of the aquarium. Then it was off to Padre Island, National Seashore. This was a nice beach. Lots of people camping on the beach, something I have never seen before and this was not in camp sites, but right on the beach, sinking in the sand. Speaking of sand, this sand was nicer then the sand in Galveston, it wasn't really soft and squishy, but it wasn't like mud either.
Saturday February 3
We started the day at the King Ranch. This is a very large ranch, all family run. It has famous horses ( forgot what they are famous for) and there was allot of ranching industry inventions done at this ranch. Unfortunately the tour wasn't that great, we mostly saw fields, no cowboys, didn't get to see the house that is on the national registry of historic places, which they spent so much time telling us about. We spent most of the time in a bus, being told all about this place, but not getting to see what we were told about.
