We got up a little later than normal then headed to the original
Starbuck's and then across the street to the market. I loved the market, with all the
fresh flowers, vegetables, and fish. The closest thing we have in Atlanta would be Harry's
farmer Market and it is not even close. The crabs and fish were tremendous!!!!
We then headed north to Canada, with the traditional border crossing, except the customs
guy asked about the NB, knew it was a TDI, asked about mpg, etc. We gave him a Herbie
after he told us we could enter his country (I didn't want him to think it was a bribe:-)
We just missed a ferry, so waited 50 minutes for the next one. The ferry ride was nice, no
whales sighted :-( We both slept part of the way.
Once on Vancouver Island, we went to Butchart gardens which was wonderful, a must see in
this part of the world, then some sights in Victoria, but we got here late, so most places
were closed. Hope to see a few things in the morning, after a massage.
