Travel Day, Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial

The morning started at about 4am with a short trip to Tampa Airport. It was a quiet nice trip except Donald and Naomi constantly bugged me about stopping for gas. I finally stopped about 10 miles outside of Tampa to quiet the critics. We arrived at Baltimore/Washington International about 10am. From the airport we took Amtrak to Union Station and then a subway to the station near the hotel. After a 20 minute walk dragging 4 rolling suitcases we made it to the hotel around noon. Our room wasn't ready, so we had lunch and then were able to get into a room.

After settling in, we took a walk to the Mall to view the Vietnam, Lincoln and Korean Memorials. It was a 30 minute walk to & from the mall. At the end of short tour we got caught in the rain, but luckily flagged down a cab before getting drenched.  We came back to the hotel for afternoon snacks and pool time.
